Our Limited Edition Bags | A Look Back At Our Most Unique Bags

At Paper Bag Co we are proud to be one of the leading suppliers of sustainable packaging in the UK, we want to leave the world in a better place than we found it, which is why we are always striving to generate as much awareness as we can about sustainable packaging, sustainable bags and the benefits they have to offer.

To try and help us on our mission of awareness, we have created some pretty unique bags!

Here we take a look back on our favourite special edition bags and why we created them in the first place.

1. The World’s Largest Paper Bag

Our first world record was the world’s largest Paper Bag. This project was some undertaking, but was worth it in the end as it provided great exposure not only for us but also for the wonderful paper bag.

We wanted to spread awareness about the benefits of paper bags, and we certainly achieved this. Should we break the record for the world’s largest canvas bag next? Who knows.

2. The World’s Largest Jute Bag

In 2019 our sister company Cotton Bag Co created the worlds largest Jute Bag, this bag could fit 9 double decker buses inside and smashed the previous record when we unveiled it in Bradford-on-Avon. We wanted to create the bag to generate awareness about this great material and the benefits it has as a reusable bagging option.

Jute is sustainable, and our partners in India supply some of the best in the world.

3. The Festival Bag

Our newest bag (The Festival Bag) was launched to coincide with the 2022 festival season. Festivals are often seen as being a drain on local environments due to the amount of waste often left behind. With the festival bag (made from recycled washable paper) we aimed to help mitigate against the problem by providing eco-friendly alternatives to the festival essentials.

Biodegradable ponchos, eco-friendly toilet paper and compostable baby wipes made up part of the offering, and they came together to give all that tried it a great festival experience.

4. The Foodie Bag

The Foodie Bag was the second iteration of our famous Selfie Bag. Within the Foodie Bag we included everything you need to take perfect food photography, from backdrops to guides on how to take the most instagrammable photo.

5. The Selfie Bag

Our Selfie Bag stemmed from a simple idea, how can we help people take good selfies? The answer came in the form of a bag with a great softbox, selfie stick, LED light ring and much much more.

 6. The Glastonbury Bags

For more than the last 10 years our relationship with The Guardian has meant we have had the privilege of creating the Newspaper’s special edition Glastonbury Festival bags. Each year brings new and exciting designs that are kept under wraps until they are released one by one each day of the festival. What’s in store for Glasto 2023…?
