We were very excited to see that our friends at Revival Retro were invited to celebrate Small Business Saturday at 10 Downing Street, especially as they took along some of the bags that we made for them!
Revival Retro is an independently owned boutique located in the heart of central London, which has won a Time Out London Best Shop award for the past two years running. Offering ‘The New Vintage Shopping Experience’, the shop stocks vintage inspired clothing and accessories from specialist suppliers, the very best in modern day reproductions and reinterpretations of 1920s, 1930s and 1940s fashions. We were more than happy to create some bespoke paper bags for them, with luxurious foil printing used to show off their fabulous gold logo.
Revival Retro was selected as one of only 100 UK small businesses from around the country to attend an event at number 10 on Saturday 3rd December raising awareness of Small Business Saturday in the UK. Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-profit campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to shop locally and support small businesses in their communities. During the event small business owners got to display their wares inside number 10 and talk to ministers about their businesses, including Minister for Small Business Margot James.
These gorgeous printed shopping bags were made from 210gsm coated board with a matt lamination, and the logo was printed using gold foil blocking with embossing. Stylish grosgrain ribbon handles added the perfect finishing touch, for a design as unique as their glamorous boutique.
